Selah House and Carefarm is a safe place for the traumatically bereaved. Led by Dr. Joanne Cacciatore, a bereaved mother, who has written Bearing the Unbearable and Grieving is Loving. She is also the founder of the MISS foundation.
Blythe fell in love with a dog she met at a Humane Society event. She talked to her siblings and we adopted Gator a few weeks later. She cared about all animals. We plan to continue to help different animal resuces near us. Etowah Valley is where Blythe found our family dog Gator. Blythe volunteered there many times as well. She also loved Mostly Mutts and the Georgia House Rabbit Society.
Blythe had talked about going to Baylor University in Texas. Click here to read more about the Bright Light Endowed Scholarship in her name. This scholarship will help others make their Baylor goals come true. We also want to want work with our alma mater University of Mary Hardin Baylor to start a scholarship in her name.
The MISS foundation kindness project is another special way to keep Blythe's light shining.
